Doc Esser

Heinz-Wilhelm Esser, MD, also known as "Doc Esser", is a specialist in internal medicine, pneumology and cardiology with an additional qualification in emergency medicine. As a senior physician, he leads the Department of Pneumology at the Remscheid Clinic. German audiences know him from the WDR channel, where he hosts the programme "Der Gesundheitscheck" and a podcast. Doc Esser is the author of several books on health-related topics and managing director of the company EasyMedical Applications, which develops medical apps for doctors.

Doc Esser runs a practice in Meerbusch with Prof. Dr. Burkhard Sievers.

Tobias Leipold

Tobias Leipold is the former CEO of eHealth-Tec and one of the thought leaders of the health industry in Germany. He has been fascinated by healthcare from an early age: He completed his school internship in a clinic. Thanks to his studies with a focus on medical management and his professional experience as an entrepreneur, Tobias Leipold has a broad experise of process optimisation in the healthcare sector and e-health applications. His expertise was crucial for his work at eHealth-Tec: In addition to information software for emergency rooms, eHealth-Tec was the first provider in Germany to implement the entire e-prescription process. As an IBM partner, eHealth-Tec is involved in the implementation of Germany's specialist e-prescription service.

Together with his agile team, Tobias Leipold was continuously working on new ideas for the future of digital healthcare.
